Built around the quick-change Virtue VIO lens system, the CMD's difference is obvious from the moment you put it on. Every component has been optimized and developed to offer the best performance in all conditions. The main goal when developing the CMD goggle was to make it fog-free. To achieve this, we had to perfect and combine three factors:

The Trifecta anti-fog system
First, the CMD uses the best possible quality lens available, with an improved thermal shield lens that gives the goggle system far superior anti-fog performance. In combination with high-resolution polycarbonate materials, the optics of all CMD lenses also increase the clarity and depth of vision.

Breathe, see, communicate
The CMD's massive airflow provides more effective ventilation that pushes all moisture and warm air out. Thanks to these vents around the mouth, the CMD drastically reduces fogging from your breath during use.

The faceplate is also engineered to provide superior mouth clearance that increases airflow and breathability by 300 percent. With a combination of anatomically correct geometry and flexible materials, the CMD offers more protection with better communication.

Dynamic protection
The CMD features a revolutionary integrated micro-visor that improves optical performance while providing an extra layer of protection for the goggles. The micro visor reduces glare and at the same time protects against scratches or moisture penetrating the pane.

The face plate design also allows for increased bounce and flexibility, meaning it absorbs most of the impact rather than your face. The balance of materials and construction increases protection while maintaining a tight jaw profile. The face plate also eliminates echo, which combined with the vents around the ear, optimizes your ability to communicate effectively in the field.

Improved comfort, stability and reduced pressure
Comfort is also an important aspect of the CMD, so it has been designed to significantly improve the wearing experience of these glasses over a period of time. Not only is the CMD foam replaceable, it's also fuller and has an extra outer layer of super-soft microfiber. We also made it wider to reduce pressure on the face.

The BK Command also has a wider goggle strap that allows for a better grip without the need for a double strap. We used a soft silicone grip print on the inside which fits more securely and really helps reduce pressure on the head.
